Atyrau Oil Refinery Plant (ANPZ) was built on the North-East coast of Caspian Sea and nowadays is the only oil refinery plant located in the center of the main oil fields of the country with direct delivery of the crude oil via functioning oil pipeline systems.

Tengiz oil field is one of the largest discoveries of world with an area of 565 square km. Tengiz field’s strata consists of oil with 46 degrees of density according to the American Oil Institute scale, which allows to extract during processing high percentage of valuable light oil products, including petrol and kerosene.
